Titus's Background and Story:
Mr. Titus Lennon, widely known as the "Singing Realtor", is apart of a successful realtors business. Titus is very clear on his mission and purpose to serve.
Titus Lennon is a husband to his beautiful wife of 11+ years, as well as a father of 5 children, a brother of 11 siblings and a son. Most importantly, Titus is a believer with a mission to help families close the gap between current lifestyle and desired lifestyle.
Titus has been helping families in Polk County Florida, while specializing in Lakeland Florida and surrounding areas.
Tumor Found:
"In September of 2020, I went for a 1 month follow up (I had gotten Lasik for improved vision) and the doctor noticed that my right eye came out a bit further than my left eye. That led to CT scans, which discovered there was a mass behind my right eye. My wife and I ended up driving to the ER at Shands in Gainesville, Florida. They determined it was a tumor.
They believed it was either a schwannoma or an hemangioma orbital tumor, however the surgeon ultimately believed it was a hemangioma tumor. They recommended surgery because the tumor was the size of my eye ball. I had neurosurgery. Prior to the surgery, the surgeon strongly believed that my eye would open in 6 weeks give or take. It's been well over the year and my right eye is still shut. Also, during the surgery, they discovered it was in fact a schwannoma and not a hemangioma.
What's done is done. I'm grateful that I'm alive and because I'm a man of faith, I still ultimately believe that God will restore and open my right eye.
That's my story as it relates to my tumor. Now I was in real estate prior to the tumor. I am still active, however I recently switched brokerages and I want to build a stronger business. I want to build a stronger impact in the community, and I'd like to tie my real estate business to a foundation.
I know that there are many different types of eye diseases and tumors, and much more dangerous ones than what I experienced. However, the cause is close to me. As a man in my mid 30's, to even have to adjust to living life while only seeing out of one eye, I can only imagine what people have to deal with with even greater eye diseases."

What we are doing:
In honor of Mr. Titus Lennon and because he wants to give back, The Eye Cancer Foundation has accepted a partnership with him in regards to eye cancer research, specifically, the search for cause and cure for schwannoma. For every house sold by Mr. Lennon, he is giving a portion of the proceeds to the foundation in order for us to fund research for schwannoma. With this funding, we will not only strive to gather the best data and results from the research done, but we hope to train other doctors as well, like we always do, to be able to detect and treat schwannoma without loss of vision or globe salvage.
