Cambodian fellow, Lom Orng Kiry, MD was one of the few successful ECF candidates to complete a fellowship during the devastating time of Covid-19. She travelled to India and was trained by our Scientific Board Member, Dr. Santosh Honavar. He was been a foundational element for The Eye Cancer Foundation’s RB Fellowship Program. Dr. Kiry is currently specializing in Ophthalmic Oncology in Cambodia. This is our first fellow from Cambodia, and the first internationally recognized specialist in that country. The ECF is very pleased with our progress providing eye cancer specialists to underserved countries and looks forward to supporting additional trainees!
