There is, however, an undeniable disparity in presentation, accessibility of care, patient compliance and outcomes seen between the developed world and developing or under-developed parts of the world. This book has been designed keeping in mind the current world-wide scenario on retinoblastoma. Experienced contributors from different parts of the world have been invited to address the important aspects of retinoblastoma, namely epidemiology, tumor biology and genetics, clinical diagnosis, treatment options and recent advances in research.
