Academic title: Master of teaching and research
Dr. Christina Stathopoulos studied medicine in Switzerland, Germany and Greece. She specializes in ophthalmology at the University Hospitals of Geneva (HUG). Then she joined the Jules-Gonin Ophthalmic Hospital, ophthalmology department of the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne. The ophthalmologist built her experience in Paris and Philadelphia, where she did an eye oncology research fellowship at Wills Eye Hospital. In 2017, she joined Prof. Munier's pediatric oncology unit as a hospital practitioner. She received the title of Master of Teaching and Research (MER) from UNIL in 2021. It was in 2022 that she became an associate executive doctor.
