An ECF fellow, Dr. Gaurav Garg, has been selected for the Best Abstract (Free Paper) Award.



​Dr. Garg's ECF-sponsored research paper, “Patients Presenting with Metastases: Stage IV Uveal Melanoma, an International Study,” has WON, the “Best Abstract Award” for Asia Pacific Vitreo-Retina Society (APVRS) 2021. This research was  performed under Dr. Finger's Supervision as a continuing work of American Joint Committee on Cancer - Ophthalmic Oncology Task Force and published in the British Journal of Ophthalmology this year. His commentary, “Patients Presenting with Stage IV Uveal Melanoma: Lessons Learned” has been accepted in the Indian Journal of Ophthalmology and is due for publication in October 2021.
