The First EJ Ocular Oncology Case at Tulane University was a Success!

Tulane University launched Louisiana’s only comprehensive ophthalmic plaque brachytherapy program for the treatment of eye cancers.
Establishing this program required extensive coordination across multiple medical and safety teams to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance. This milestone represents a major advancement for cancer care in Louisiana. Patients who previously had to leave the state for this treatment can now receive cutting-edge eye cancer therapy close to home, reducing travel burden while maintaining the highest standards of care.
