The Eye Cancer Foundation is awarded the 2024 Platinum Seal Award!
June 14, 2024: For the fifth year in a row, The Eye Cancer Foundation has been awarded the Platinum Seal of Transparency by Candid, the leading source of information on non-profits within the United States. The ECF is pleased that donors, current and prospective, are able to gain valuable, honest insight into how we function.
Candid, has served as an instrumental resource in the non-profit sector for over 25 years. Their directory of organization profiles offers detailed information on various foundations, from their missions to their earnings. In doing so, donors are able to make informed decisions on where their charitable donations are going.
In order to earn a platinum seal, The Eye Cancer Foundation first had to meet the credentials for bronze, silver and gold levels of transparency. With each tier, there comes an increased degree of public visibility. Providing donors with basic information such as our mission statement would have earned us a bronze seal — however, we chose to go the extra mile. By making available information on our programs, financials and, most recently, a strategic plan for how our goals can be met, we’ve proven a commitment to pursuing our mission. The ECF is proud to offer donors a comprehensive look at how their donations can make a sizable difference.
