Hi, i was diagnosed at the age of 17 with a regressed retinoblastoma (unilateral) at a routine eye test. two years later, the tumour appeared to begin growing again and i was treated with plaque radiation. ten years later all follow up appointments have proved to be fine with no signs of the cancer returning. although i have not had genetic testing done, i have been told by my specialist that it is highly unlikely i have a heredatory form of retinoblastoma (no history of eye cancer in my family whatsoever). I was wondering if i were to become pregnant, what the chances of my child developing retinoblastoma are?
