Help, i am unsure
From Angelina, May 13, 2004
Hi there, My son is seven When he was born i noticed an abnormality with his pupil. It is the shape of an upside down teardrop. He went to the Orthoptic (excuse spelling) clinic where i live, he was an outpatient until he was 3ish. They said it was ok, they told me the clinical name for it and also refered to it as 'key eye pupil' i don't know what the clinical name is (as it was complex and it was 4 years ago now) and i have searched the web looking to find out more information on his condition. I can't seem to be able to find anything that resembles his condition except Retinoblastoma, I found out information about Retinoblastoma but my sons condition doesn't seem to be the same. The eye Dr's he saw said his eye would be fine but he must wear sunglasses when it's bright to reduce the chances of his eye getting worse. Does anyone know what his condition is called and any websites with ANY information about his condition. Sorry to be so long winded in my post. I hope someone can help me with this. Many Thanks in Advance, Angelina
