Hi all. My name is Molly and I'm searching for any kind of information that I can regarding occular melanoma with mets to the liver. My Mother in law was diagnosed with occular melanoma in early 2008. She had treatment with the plaque, has been doing her follow up scans, blood tests, ect. She started having some abdominal pain about a month or 2 ago, didn't mention anything to anybody, and is now awaiting results of a liver biopsy. They found a "lesion vs mass" on the right lobe of her liver measuring aproximately 10cm x 15cm. Any info that anybody has would be greatly appreciated, good or bad. I'm trying to gather as much info as I can to fight this as hard as we can. Thank you!

We got the biopsy results today. Her oncologist is sending her to another to find a course of treatment. She was diagnosed with occular melanoma with metastisis to the liver and possibly other organs. Does anybody know of any current treatments that are showing any promise? Does anybody know of any physicians that we should see regarding this? Thank you, Molly
