December 9, 2024: Dr. Betzy Alcántara of the Dominican Republic just completed her ECF Fellowship under our Scientific Board Member and Professor, Dr. Alberto Calle Vásquez! She trained at the Calle Ophthalmic & Orbit Oncology Center and stood out due to her dedication, interest in ocular oncology, and care of patients. During her training, she learned best practices in techniques such as ocular oncology and orbital tumors.

Dr. Betzy Alcántara had this to say about the experience:
"The hands-on practice at Calle Ophthalmic was completely productive and enriching, allowing me to identify and practice different techniques on the ocular adnexa and orbital areas. I appreciate the magnificent guidance of our instructor in practice, Dr. Alberto Calle, who led us to make the most of this session for a full day. I thank him for his interest in our learning and the patience that these hard days require. It was a wonderful, productive practice with the best possible company and staff.
